1.    Log into the Banking App

    Open your banking app and log in using your secure credentials (username, password, or biometric authentication, if applicable).

    Ensure that you have internet access to successfully log in.


2.    Access the Transact Menu

    Once logged in, click on the Transact option from the app’s main menu.

    The Transact menu typically includes options for managing transactions and payments.

3.    Navigate to Debit Orders

    Scroll down the Transact menu and click on the Debit Orders option.

    This section displays all debit order-related functions, including viewing, managing, and approving debit orders.

4.    Select DebiCheck

    In the Debit Orders section, click on DebiCheck.

    This will open a list of active or pending DebiCheck mandates awaiting approval.

5.     Review Mandate Details

    Please carefully review the details of the pending mandate, including:

o    the service provider’s name

o    the debit order amount

o    the frequency of deductions

o    the terms and conditions

    Ensure that the details align with the agreement you made with the service provider.

6.    Approve the Mandate

    If the details are correct, select Approve to authorise the DebiCheck mandate.

    Some apps may require additional confirmation, such as entering a PIN, password, or using biometric verification.

7.    Confirmation Message

    You will receive a confirmation message once the mandate has been successfully approved.

Troubleshooting Tips

    Unable to Log In:

Check that you are using the correct login credentials. If you've forgotten your details, select the “Forgot Password” option or the bank’s help desk for assistance.

    DebiCheck Option Not Visible:

Ensure that you have navigated to the correct section (Transact > Debit Orders > DebiCheck). If the issue persists, update your app to the latest version.

    Mandate Not Displayed:

Verify if the service provider has submitted the mandate. If not, contact the provider to confirm the request.

    Technical Issues with the App:

If the app is unresponsive or displaying errors, try again later or contact the bank’s technical support team.
